Scholarships Available – Students, Architect Registration Exam, Vancouver

SWW Architecture Education Scholarships:  For the past several years, in conjunction with AIA National, AIA Southwest Washington has offered a scholarship program for students pursuing undergraduate degrees in architecture.

ELIGIBILITY: Scholarships are offered to high school graduates entering a university with an accredited architecture program, or students entering their second (or more) year in an accredited architectural degree program in a university.   Students must have resided prior to entering the program in Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Skamania, Wahkiakum, Grays Harbor, Clark, or Cowlitz Counties in Washington State.

2017-2018 School Application

ARE Scholarships:  Partial exam cost reimbursement to interns from the SWW Chapter area.

ELIGIBILITY:  Work or live within AIA SWW boundaries, submit a schedule of proposed testing timeline for all 7 exams indicating a timely plan for completion, submit within one year from passing an exam the Prometric receipt and proof of passage, and volunteer two hours of time tutoring other interns on an as-needed basis.

2017 ARE Scholarship Application

Vancouver Scholarships:  AIA Vancouver offers scholarships to  students from the Vancouver area who are enrolled in the architecture program at Washington State University and other universities.   Call 253-627-4006 for more information.
